About Cabaret vs Cancer
Founded in 2014, and becoming a registered charity in 2016, Cabaret vs Cancer raises money to, quite simply support those affected by cancer.
Cabaret producer, Rose Thorne is the Director and Founder of Cabaret vs Cancer supported by our Patron Dusty Limits and our Trustees, and cabaret performers, Benjamin Louche and Lilly Snatchdragon. Together with our team of Ambassadors & Angels, supporters and volunteers we raise money at cabaret and burlesque events across the UK and by staging our own events in London.
Since 2016 we have been working with child bereavement teams in local hospices, to ensure they have the tools and support they need to help children who are losing or have lost a close relative.
Additionally, CABARET vs CANCER works with various organisations to support those currently living with cancer; from the manufacture of modern breast forms for post-mastectomy women in Cornwall, to patient transport providers in the North of England.
As well as our cabaret shows, we host several INCREDIBLE charity auctions throughout the year, from rare Star Wars collectibles to Twin Peaks autographs. Being officially licensed through the David Bowie estate means we’re also able to raise funds with our official David Bowie merchandise.
