What we do with your cancer charity donations
Every donation to Cabaret Vs Cancer helps us support a range of cancer charities across the UK.
These incredible organisations make a real difference to those affected by cancer, dealing with life-changing diagnoses, and navigating grief and loss.
Since 2014, you’ve helped us award more than £460, 000 in grants!
Your generosity fuels vital services, strengthens partner organisations, and brings comfort to individuals and families at some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Our grants support cancer charities and organisations across the UK
Cancer affects thousands of people every day, and it affects everyone in a different way. For this reason, our donations support a wide range of charities who offer invaluable guidance, wellbeing services, financial support, and reassurance.
Here are just a few of the projects we raise money for…

St Joseph’s Hospice
Supporting families through bereavement
Your donations to Cabaret Vs Cancer help fund the incredible child bereavement team at St Joseph’s Hospice, providing specialist support for families facing unimaginable loss.
This work ensures no child or parent has to navigate grief alone.

The Loss Foundation
Helping people find their way through loss
We proudly support The Loss Foundation, a specialist service offering grief support to those who’ve lost someone to cancer. Donations help keep vital counselling and community programmes available.
Recently we've been supporting the development of a toolkit to help young people dealing with loss.

Shine Cancer Support
Backing young adults living with cancer

A portion of our grant‑giving goes to Shine Cancer Support. This wonderful organisation is dedicated to helping people under 50 who are facing cancer diagnoses.
Your support funds peer groups, practical advice, and emotional wellbeing sessions tailored to younger adults.

Cancer is a Drag
Providing money where it's needed most

We also provide financial support to Cancer is a Drag, an independent charitable organisation committed to relieving the financial hardship that can come with a cancer diagnosis.
From travel to treatment to essential living expenses, Cancer is a Drag helps individuals struggling with the everyday costs that come with cancer.
Pasic

Giving Santa Claus a helping hand at Christmas

We work closely with Santa to ensure that children with cancer in the East Midlands receive a special present while in hospital, whether it's a Barbie doll or a cuddly shark!
We shop directly from the Pasic wish list to make sure the items they receive will be needed and loved.

Boost
Making breast forms accessible for those affected by breast cancer and mastectomies
We first partnered with Boost in 2020. Since then, we’ve donated over £21,000 in grants to help people affected by cancer access fully funded, partially funded, or significantly discounted breast forms.
These breast forms can do wonders for a breast cancer patient’s dignity, confidence, and comfort.
How we raise money
If you’re wondering how you can help us raise money for cancer support charities, you have so many options! You can purchase some merchandise from our shop (including David Bowie socks, charity pin badges, and tote bags).
As a burlesque and cabaret charity in London, we also get rather creative with our fundraising. Come and see one of our shows or events for a night of fun — we’ll then turn your generosity into real, tangible help for the people who need it most.
Alternatively, explore our online charity auctions, which are packed with all kinds of rare and signed items, from Kate Bush vinyl records to Twin Peaks memorabilia...

Of course, you can also make a direct donation! We're always grateful for every penny you donate and thank you for helping us continue to support the invaluable work of cancer charities across the UK.
